After a long series of flights, I landed in South Korea. As an avid listener of Kpop and watcher of Kdramas (especially those historical), I was excited and eager to visit this country. This was a long anticipated trip that was originally planned for 2020 and delayed for many reasons, not just the pandemic.
After sleeping one night in Seoul, our first stop was Jeonju. Here, we were able to see a feudal-style village and a museum for Hanji-an ancient paper made from the bark of young mulberry trees.

I was elated to see the old buildings with their colorful paint and rich history. The one below was a resting place for a king as he traveled.
