Lisbon is the biggest city in Portugal, and I’m glad we saved it for last. It’s a bit overwhelming at times, and really packed with tourists-which I did not expect. I guess the secret of this travel destination is out.

This is the Monument to the Discoveries, honoring Portugal’s journey around Africa in search of spices and other exports. Seems like a lot of work to avoid a toll. 😂

We also stopped at the LX Market which is a great stop for shopping and eating. I loved all the artwork and graffiti.

We spent the evening walking around. It’s such a lovely city, but requires a lot of energy for the trek up and down the hills.
